Since 1994

A Surat house, still run from
the bench

Baradia Gems began in 1994 as a two-man cutting unit above a tea stall in Mahidharpura. Kamal Baradia
cut; his brother Kanti Baradia sold. Thirty-one years later the family still checks every stone under the loupe
before it is set — only now there are twenty-two karigars at the benches and clients in eleven countries.

We buy our own rough

Being in Surat means we sit at the source. Stones are bought as rough or certified parcels, cut to our own proportions, and never bought through layers of middlemen.

We set in-house

Wax, casting, setting, polish and quality control all happen under one roof. If a prong sits half a degree off, it comes back to the same karigar who made it.

We price transparently

Stone value, gold weight and making charges are itemised on every quotation. No opaque ‘wastage’ percentages, no pressure to close the same day.

THE STANDARD

What every piece carries

  • BIS hallmarking on all 18K and 22K gold
  • GRS certification for every coloured centre stone
  • Lifetime cleaning, re-polish and rhodium service
  • 60-day complimentary resizing, 15-day returns on ready pieces
  • Full itemised invoice with stone and metal breakdown
